Sorry for being MIA lately. I decided that I had better start to get things ready for the impending arrival of baby Bench #2. I and I think I may have gotten a little carried away lately :) I pulled out all the stored baby clothes from Mr. James and realized that they were all yellow from his obnoxious spit up days even though they were clean when I put them away. Have no fear though, I got ALL of the stains (spit up or not) out and only managed to fade the color on one of the cute little outfits. I call that a success thanks to baby Oxyclean :) I have also started getting into nesting mode. The mode where I feel like I have to clean out every nook and cranny of my house and get rid of anything I possibly can and clean everywhere at least three times. I call it pregnancy insanity and I think little James would agree. Any free time I have these days involves a nap so I don't get much done on the computer. I hope you'll forgive me once again for not posting pictures :) I promise I'll make it up to all the grandma's with a picture overload one of these days.
As for James....what can I say, the kid is trying to grow up too fast. He is getting his two year old molars, gave his binkies to new babies, now sleeps in a big boy bed, and will start potty training probably next week. His mama is just trying to run to keep up with all these changes. He LOVES swimming now and goes down every kid slide at the water park we have annual passes to. He hands me toys and says, "thank you." It's the cutest thank you I think I've ever heard. He is starting to play by himself more and more. He loves making smoothies and drinking them. He waves to every one he sees. When I start counting to let him know he's in trouble and better come running back he counts with me and then runs back. At least he still runs back and doesn't just finish counting (at least that's what I tell myself). He feeds all of his stuffed animals while he's eating and would probably bring them all to the dinner table if we let him. He loves reading books and driving his cars on the arms of the couches.
I haven't read your blog in forever and I love your sweet family! I am sooo impressed you tackled a big bed, no more pacifiers, and potty training before baby! I am afraid to g rid of Eli's "night nights". He only needs them to sleep but I'm not ready for a scream fest. Sounds like life is going well for you!
