It's official. James is crawling and into everything he can get his hands on. It all started with a pear. I would cut a pear up, give him a little taste and then move the pear away. He of course just had to have another taste so he put his muscles to work to get to those delicious slices. It is fun to watch him learn new things and every day he gets better and faster and more mischievous. I am definitely liking 7 months.
"Gotcha where I want you..."
...now I'm gonna eat you."
"Look mom, I got a pear!"
"Want one?"
"Too bad, I'm going to eat them both."
While the pear works to keep this little ball of energy occupied, I have had to move on to more sturdy things that he can't sink his little chompers in (he has two very sharp and very cute little teeth) and tear chunks out of. We have since moved on to brightly colored blocks that work for about five minutes and his recent favorite is the dry erase markers that we keep in a cup. He can't stand to have them all neatly put away and must scatter them. As long as they are out of the cup and all over the place he's satisfied and loses interest.
