Full Belly = Sleep

What a day! Since he had the chest tubes removed we were able to start nursing. It was a bit rough at first, but overall a success. I have decided that it just requires some patience and persistence but is totally worth it! James tires out quickly so he doesn't nurse for very long because it's hard work, so he gets a bottle and today he sucked it down like a champ. He is doing really well and they are working on taking him off oxygen little by little. He is off tylenol and morphine too!! He doesn't seem to be in much pain anymore which is good. It's hard on his mama to see him hurting. If I didn't have to sleep I would just hold him and sing to him all night, but alas I am only human and must sleep, so rest assured that things are looking good for this little family.
