Top 10

I LOVE THESE BOYS!!!! Sometimes I think my heart can't overflow anymore with love for my sons, but then it does. They sure are little handfuls, and I am often hoping it was bedtime already, but when the day is done and they are sleeping soundly in their beds I reflect on the day and remember all the fun little things they said or did. I think about how lucky I am to get to enjoy their laughter and kiss their owies all better. Yep, life is good. Hopefully, I can remember that tomorrow when James decides to pee everywhere but in the potty. I think I'm crazy. I am So. Sick. of. Changing. His. Diapers. (much less buying them) but I'm not sure what's worse, changing diapers while I listen to a very whiny, "no mommy, don't change my bum," (after finally getting him to lay down for a diaper change) or fighting him to go to the potty. I feel like I am going about it all wrong, but I don't know what else to do. I just keep hoping he'll catch on the the fact that going in the potty is way better than getting a diaper change :) Anyways, one day I hope he reads this and we can laugh about it. He is teaching me so many things. I think his younger siblings should really thank him for going first and breaking in these parents. I promise that pictures are coming soon.

James - 35 months
1. Now reads the books to us. He has them memorized because we've read them so many times. Our favorite book is hands down Railroad Hank by Lisa Moser. It's a library book, but I am thinking it needs to be on my shelf permanently. It is so fun to read and even more fun to listen to my little James read recite from memory.
2. He likes all things trucks, diggers, machinery, cars, etc. He LOVES them. If there is a bus in a parking lot you can bet that we will take a drive around the bus just so he can get a good look.
3. He is the best little helper. He takes his dirty clothes to the laundry, picks up his toys, sets the table, clears the table, helps put away clean laundry, talks to Seth when Seth is sad, gets diapers, puts diapers in the garbage, takes the trash out, keeps Seth from eating shoes, and that's all I can think of but I'm sure there's more.
4. Can sing like a little angel. If he doesn't know the words he makes them up. He loves his primary songs. When we are in the car, the primary songs are playing.
5. Loves the movie Cars.
6. Most often says, "I want to go outside." One day my boy, we will have a yard where you can roam free.
7. Doesn't think that pee should go in the potty. Ok, he knows it should go there, but he doesn't think he should have to be the one get it there.
8. Loves cucumbers and ranch and 'ice cream' (spinach, coconut milk, and frozen fruit), all things cheese, tortillas, and milk
9. Gives the best hugs around the neck.
10. Is such a good brother to Seth. He loves to make Seth giggle.

Seth- 8 months
1. Went from army crawling, to crawling, and is not cruising. He would rather stand than anything else. Doesn't really like to hold still.
2. Loves to knock all the shoes off of the shoe rack.
3. Gives the best slobbery kisses.
4. Blows raspberries when he's tired.
5. Is usually smiling.
6. Likes to empty the toy basket just because.
7. Puts everything in his mouth.
8. Growls when I'm not feeding him fast enough. Or when he wants something I have.
9. Still working on his little digestion. The doctors said to give him more water, but the little cutie really hates drinking plain water. Guess I'll have get creative.
10. Giggles at his older brother every single day.
