Baby Boy #3
1. Is by far the most active baby I've ever carried
2. Is LOVED by his older brothers. They ask everyday to say hello to him and feel him kick.
3. Is making it hard to walk, but I can still chase down my 19 month old so I suppose it's all about priorities.
4. Is possibly going to be named Noah. If James has anything to say about it it will most definitely be Noah.
5. Has a beautiful healthy looking heart so far.
Seth
1. Runs
2. Demands to walk up and down the stairs by himself, which I am more than happy to let him do. I think he knows his being carried around days are coming to a close.
3. Mimics his older brother
4. A snuggle bug
5. Has the most fine tuned facial expressions I've ever seen. I think it's his way of communicating without actually having to talk.
6. Is beginning to think nursery isn't so bad after all.
7. Loves to read stories and knows the color yellow
8. Knows most of his animal noises
9. tender hearted
10. LOVES his daddy (that's how I get him to go places most of the time. I tell him we are going to see daddy and he comes running. Most of the time we are going to see daddy, but perhaps I sometimes stretch the truth just a little. only a little though)
James
1. Loves to sing
2. Insists on watching a show while Seth takes a nap, which I happily let him while I take a nap :)
3. Is the best little helper when he wants to be.
4. Has been fiercely testing the boundaries lately. I am EXHAUSTED by the end of the day, but each day seems to be a little better, unless it's not, then we just start over and try again.
5. Is good at picking up his toys when I set a timer. He told me I was good at giving his toys away. Haha! probably because when he gives me attitude about cleaning up I tell him he can help or if he doesn't want to then no worries, I will just give them to another little boy who doesn't have as many. Might not be the best solution, but for now it's working :)
6. Is the sweetest friend to all of his younger play date buddies. He even told me he has a girlfriend. She's just a couple of months older than Seth. Haha! but he said he was going to marry his other friend who is 4.
7. Is really good at playing I spy.
8. Has been a pretty good eater lately. He told me the other day that his favorite food was vegetables because they make him grow big and strong. He has yet to prefer veggies to other options, but at least he knows what foods are good for him. Perhaps one day his knowledge will take over his taste buds and he'll LOVE eating veggies.
9. We have the best conversations in the car. He's hilarious and I wish I could remember them all. He also has taken to telling me how to drive. It's lovely.
10. Reads us the scriptures now. He makes up the words, but it's scripture language so at least we know he's getting something out of it.
Another one bites the dust. Shirt #5 in 3 months. Good thing I like shopping, and can I just say, oh man! does he look good in his new shirts ;)
After their hair cuts. Phew! Glad that's over for another few weeks.
Always the tongue with pictures now.
Who wants to sit in the intended seat when they can recline in the storage compartment. He climbs in there all by himself.
Kid got my phone, but the is pretty much what my house looks like all the time. I will miss these days one day I'm sure.
I was in the bathroom getting ready and James comes running in with the most mischievous smile I've ever seen and he was holding the fridge shelf. I come out to find this (which he willingly cleaned up by the way) and...
...this. I'm pretty sure this kid would eat blueberries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I let him.
I took them upstairs after church, told them I'd be right back because I didn't have enough hands to carry everything, and came back to two adorable little boys and suckers. I tried to get Seth to share one of his with me, but he was having none of that. I let them finish their suckers and it turned out to be a pleasant afternoon despite the sugar rush.
So cute I had to take a picture.
But James said, "mom, take a better one." Haha! I guess this is his idea of 'better.'
I'm telling you, he has a thing for the back.
This is how we roll.
Key Lime Pie Festival. That pie was soooooo good, and I don't even like key lime pie.
Eating 'ice cream' for lunch. I was really a green smoothie disguised as ice cream consistency, but don't tell him that.
He insisted on riding this to the slide and I told him I would not help carry it. He pretty much looked like this the whole way there and back. There was lots of weeping and wailing, but he persevered and made it. He hasn't asked to ride it to the slide again. Mission accomplished. Muahaha!
Outside the Orlando Temple.
Lunchtime shenanigans.
There's that tongue again when I asked him to smile.
This is his new thing. He likes to hold his temples while he chews his food because he can feel the movement. Oh the wonders of a 3 yr old mind.
Went to the aquarium.
