Top 5

Sometimes I think my kids are out to get me...then I remember they are just kids learning the boundaries over and over and over and over and over again. And they probably are out to get me just to see what I'll do. I also think I've figured out why most of the general conference talks to women are full of love and encouragement (at least that's what I get out of them). It's because we are hard enough on ourselves and could use the extra love. I wish my parents and parents-in-law could visit more often. They are always so great at telling us what a great job we are doing as parents and give uplifting and very helpful advice on how to survive. I am so so so so so so grateful for modern technology to allow me to talk to those blessed grandparents so often. And I am so so so grateful for my little munchkins who help me learn. I just hope they forgive me for all the things I could be better at.

James
1. LOVES his cars. He probably has far too many, but they are lined up every day in neat little rows. They go to parks, church, bed, and the bath. Pretty sure I even have one in my purse.
2. Is an awesome older brother. As long as Seth doesn't touch his cars.
3. Is so excited for his new brother. He asks all the time if the baby can come out now.
4. Says the funniest things.
5. Is sure loving to push mom to the limits. We threw away some beloved monster trucks because he chose not to listen. He even offered to throw them in the garbage. Not sure if that lesson sunk in, but there's always tomorrow to try again/

Seth
1. LOVES shoes. He tries on everyone's shoes and usually ends up wearing James' shoes around the house.
2. Is a snuggler
3. Knows the color yellow
4. Can sing the Hello Song, and says 'hello baby' to my belly every day.
5. Laughs the hardest at James' silly antics.

Yes those are cowboy boots. The kids wears them everywhere.

The day they dumped oatmeal all over...yeah, I think I just took a video and picture and told myself it could be worse.
And with a face like that...well, it's a good thing he's so cute. James begged me not to clean it up til he was done playing with it. When he was done he picked up all his cars and said, "okay mom, I guess you can vacuum now."

This kid could walk into a room and sniff out blueberries. If he could open the fridge himself we would never have any fruit in it. The block of cheese next to his leg was James' doing. James likes to open the fridge for Seth just to see what he'll get into.

Cute little face.

My little Batman. I hope you continue dressing up to go to parks and the store for a while. It's so much fun.

My world.

On occasion I am a genius. I taped two lines on the carpet. Taped paper plates on their hands and feet and told them to shuffle. It was fun to watch and James had a good time.

He ended up taking all the paper plates off and running back and forth between the lines as different animals.

He loves his hummus.

The shoes!!

He was demanding that I take pictures.

Silly boy.

His favorite food. Blueberry anything.

I was so tired of trying to come up with church outfits with this pregnant belly so we went shopping. There was this dress and an identical black one. James was the best little shopping buddy. He said, "wow, mom! You look so beautiful! The blue one is my favorite." I asked him which one I should get and he said, "oh, just get them both." Done!! It was fun and whenever I wear the black on he says, "mom, I like the blue one. you should wear the blue one." My darling son, you can go shopping with me anytime.
