The Days are Long but the Years are Short

Some days I am counting the minutes til bedtime and then look at pictures of them after they are in bed and my heart overflows with love for them and I remember all the fun, cute things they did that day. I am so grateful that I get to stay home with them and grow with them. Sometimes, I think I am going just a little bit crazy, but I suppose a little crazy is needed too.

When my double stroller isn't available. Good thing they don't mind.

Daddy playing 'space ship' with James. Who needs toys when you have a box and daddy who is really a kid at heart.

Had to put the flaps up to fly.

They picked up a martian on mars.

This boy has found his fins. He loves his floaties and being able to move without the help of mom or dad. Swimming lessons are definitely on the list.

I accidentally ordered two 72 hour food buckets for emergencies. I ordered one on my phone and it wasn't working I thought so I got on the computer and ordered another one. I never got an email about the first order so I didn't think it went through. I suppose of all the things I could accidentally order two of this is a pretty good one.

Got a new fort because I was tired of pulling blankets out and rearranging my living room. They were taking a 'nap.' Still don't know how Chris fit in there, but he did.

How you put up curtains. We put up black out curtains in the boys' room hoping they would go to sleep better and I suppose it's working. Seth is sleeping through the night (can I get a hallelujah!!!). He takes better naps and James...well, as long as he's not hungry he sleeps. He has started snuggling with me every morning and I LOVE that.

Sometimes I think I should change my parenting style...

(They loved this chocolate smoothie)

...because I seem to let my kids make way too many messes with food...

But then I wouldn't get to see this cute face...

Or this messy baby, so I suppose I will keep cleaning up messes.

We are reupholstering our chairs, so James climbed on this chair and says, "mom, take a picture." Cute little man.
