True Love

So sometimes we actually fork out the dough for a babysitter and go on a real date. This was Valentine's day and it was so fun. I think next year we should go on the day before Valentine's though. Everything was packed, but we ended up eating at California Pizza Kitchen, playing 20 questions and going shopping. Kind of boring, but it was just the two of us so it was AWESOME!!

This is true love people. I wanted to be all fancy smancy for Chris because he usually sees me in one of his old t-shirts and sweats with a frizzy pony tail, so I did my hair and wore high heels. We were walking downstairs I noticed my shoes in his hand. He said, "You look great in those heels and I appreciate you wanting to dress up for me, but you don't wear high heels that often and I wanted you to be comfortable." After I picked up my heart that just melted all over we got in the car and I put on my comfy shoes :) Maybe next time my heels will make it further than to the car.

  1. That was so sweet of him! You're brave, I don't even OWN a pair of heels bc they're so uncomfortable, so kudoes to you for wearing them!

  2. Haha! Ditto on the uncomfortable thing. I usually only wear them to church to make me taller so my skirts don't drag on the floor. They are usually off during all of Sacrament meeting and when I play the piano. LOL :)
