Top 5

Whew! Stomach bugs in kids are terrible!! Sure glad that's over. I have lots of catching up to do, but sadly no energy find the cord to download the pictures. I will soon though. For now here's a top 5 for the little darlings.

James
1. Loves to make Seth laugh, but isn't really interested in sharing his toys with him, unless he picks the toy Seth plays with.
2. Sings like an angel. He knows the primary songs almost as well as I do.
3. Has finally decided that eating is the thing to do. He eats more than I do most days and still wakes up at night asking for food sometimes. I am so so so so happy about this because he is so tiny. Now I just need to figure out how to get him to eat when I want him to eat so that I'm not cooking/cleaning all day and night.
4. Such a good little helper! Oh, and did I mention that he's mostly POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!! Not night time yet, but that's cool with me for now. Sometimes, I have to give him the choice of either going by himself or me helping him go (he always chooses to go by himself), but other than that he's awesome at it. Yay!!! Yay!!! Yay!!!
5. Is showing his desire to be independent. I take a lot of deep breaths and just hope he'll forgive me for those times I don't take enough deep breaths and react like a child rather than a responsible, calm adult.

Seth
1. Just turned 9 months and is cruising, wakes up once or twice a night to eat, but always goes right back to sleep. Sometimes, when his mom is about to lose her sanity, his built-in preservation system kicks in and he sleeps the whole night.
2. Loves to snuggle when he's tired.
3. Scrunches his eyebrows just like his daddy.
4. Gets really really mad when he sees my finger coming to dig out whatever he just stuck in his mouth from the floor. I promise I vacuum and sweep all the time, but those cute little hands find everything. James has even started telling me when Seth puts something in his mouth that he shouldn't.
5. He growls when we aren't feeding him fast enough during meal times. I know he's full when he stops growling at me. He loves to feed himself. He only gets about half of what I put down to his mouth, but at least he did it himself.
5. Is currently working on getting his two front teeth to stay poked out of those cute little gums.
