Well, one of the many best parts...is that Chris thinks my kids are as cute as I think they are.
Seriously though, I LOVE these boys. They are just the little boys I needed to help sand off my rough edges. By the time they make it to adulthood I will be a mirror because I will be so polished. I will probably have gray hair and lots of wrinkles too, but those are beautiful in my book.
Seth:
1. Oh my goodness do we love his giggles!!! James will stop what he is doing and come over to Seth if he hears giggling. It's the cutest thing.
2. Rolls and scoots and jumps. He even tries to jump while I nurse him.
3. Wants to sit up rather than recline.
4. Grabs for everything.
5. Likes to be naked. (kid after my own heart :)
James:
1. FAST. He runs everywhere he goes, except for when I would like him to hurry. Then he walks like a turtle. I am getting really good at anticipating right before he breaks into a run because I usually grab him before that happens. Usually.
2. Loves all things diggers/construction. We walk to the library and have to stop and watch the loaders and skid steers and dump trucks while they work. The people driving by would smile and I think the construction workers got a kick out of us as well.
3. Loves to make Seth laugh. Those two crack each other up on a daily basis. I just soak up the goodness it brings into my home and heart.
4. Talks like a little man. Says hi to everyone he sees and calls everyone who is older grandpa or grandma.
5. Gives the BEST hugs.
He wasn't too sure about jumping, but now he loves this thing.
We got a case for Chris' guitar and this box was perfect as a bed.
He was pretending to take a nap. He never actually did fall asleep in it, but it was fun to play with.
James climbed into our bed when he saw Seth on my pillow and said, "goodnight."
Dressed up as Linus from Peanuts.
Not very amused at having to be placed in the laundry basket every couple of weeks just for a picture.
How we do tummy time.
He thought Seth needed to practice rolling so he rolled him onto his tummy....
...and then got a kick out of watching Seth roll back over onto his back.
Which of these doesn't belong?? It's pretty fun opening the fridge these days. I never know what I'll find.
We made an alphabet parking lot. I would tape the lower case letters to the car and tell James to drive them home to their garage. It was a little tricky but he was getting the hang of it.
Brothers :)
My kitchen buddy. Happy as long as he has something to chew on.
He needed a laundry picture too.
Pretty sure I LOVE this picture.
