Knock knock?
Who's there?
Olive.
Olive who?
Olive you!!!
My new and forever favorite knock knock joke. It's Matty's favorite thing to say lately. Unless he's mad at me (or just being silly and wants a rise out of me) and then he says, "I don't love you!" But he always picks the best time to say it and really mean it. Like right after I tuck him in bed and shut his door. He'll creep out and I'll be ready to put my mean face on, but then he tells me he loves me or says that knock knock joke. Then he runs back to bed never to be seen again until morning. Some moments I don't know how I am going to survive his little three year old self and other times I don't want him to grow up. I guess that's parenting for you. And in case no one told you today that you are loved, you are. More deeply and fervently than you could possibly imagine.
