When the scout camp out gets cancelled due to lack of participation what do we do? We take our little family and go camping of course. I'm pretty sure we were rethinking out decision to go camping a few times throughout the trip--mainly when we had to put up the tent, feed hungry kids, swat the million mosquitoes, and try to get boys to actually go to sleep. But it was fun. I always wish we could have stayed longer whenever we actually manage to go camping, but alas, we all survived and the mosquito bites are mostly healed. I got to see my scoutmaster man in action, smell a campfire, and actually see a few stars. Oh, and it was on Chris' birthday. I'm sure glad we got to hang out with him.
