Food

Sometimes I wonder why I bother making food. It's just going to get an "eeewwwww I don't like that!" or perhaps a "waaaaahhhh why do I have to eat that!" at least that's how it feels sometimes. Occasionally I get an, "oh yummy! This looks reeeeeally good." Guess that bad reviews make the good ones that much sweeter. And sorry kids, I will keep feeding you healthy food that may not be to your liking until you do. At least I hope you learn to love healthy food. One day you'll thank me. Until then...

I will keep feeding you avocado, spinach 'ice cream,' and watch you happily slurp it down thinking I am the best mom in the world for feeding you ice cream for your nightly snack.

Proof that the little people in the house are indeed mine. This is how I opened the jar. We eat peanut butter by the spoonfuls here.

Rainbow Quinoa.
"This is the best quinoa dish I've ever had!" - Chris.
I remember when I first started making quinoa. It was terrible. My sweet husband asked me to not expect him to enjoy it. I became determined to find a way to make him love it and my goal has been fulfilled. Muahahahaha! Poor guy. Now he drinks green smoothies and eats quinoa all the time. He sure puts up with a lot of not so tasty dishes though. I sure love that guy! He makes this whole life thing pretty awesome.
