Sometimes I feel like my days are just days and that I have accomplished a great deal if I am simply able to vacuum the floor. What do I do the rest of the day??? Well, I have fun seeing James learn new things. We read books, play peek-a-boo, go swimming, take naps (usually just James, but sometimes me too :), make food, do dishes or laundry (of course), have dance parties, paint fabulous pictures, learn new words and animal sounds, or just go for walks (and try not to melt in the Florida heat). And would you believe me if I told you we could do all of these things in about three hours sometimes? It's true. At times my little tornado has a really short attention span sometimes. Some days I simply clean up messes while trying to teach J to clean up his messes. He's getting pretty good at putting things away, but he's getting even better at getting things out. I love my job!
He found a new activity. Playing with the dishes in the sink.
He had that sticker on his forehead all day. I kept showing him in the mirror and he would do a double take but leave it there.
I thought he was looking at a book, but he was pulling out tissues. I then thought, oh good I caught him just in time before he got the whole box unloaded...
and then I looked up... ;) The good news is he only managed to unload half of the box of tissues before he got bored. After I got them all put back together and back in the box I handed him the unusable tissues to throw in the garbage....
This is where they ended up. Guess he thought daddy's shoes made a good garbage.
