New Heights

It seems like every day this kid learns something new. I suppose that's what babies are supposed to do, but man oh man sometimes I wish he would slow down just a little. He's growing too fast. Just this past week he learned that he can climb on top of things. He especially loves to get on and off of the dishwasher as well. And the other day he got into the bathtub (don't worry it was empty) all by himself and started playing with the shampoo bottles. He can crawl super fast and does the best downward facing dog (yoga move) I think I've ever seen. When he gets tired of crawling he sometimes just lies down on the ground wherever he is and rests for a minute. It's pretty funny because it's usually in the most random of places. He still wakes up at least once at night and takes 3 one hour naps a day. I guess he just doesn't want to miss anything so he'll only sleep for an hour at a time. He is super giggly right before naptime or bedtime. He yawns like his dad but wrinkles up his nose when he smiles like his mom. He gives the best slobber...I mean kisses but watch out for those teeth! He as two more teeth coming in on the bottom. His hair is growing in more and more and is a slight twinge of strawberry blonde. His feet are huge!! At least compared to other kids his age. His feet grow out of the footie part of the footie pajamas before the rest of him does. He is in the 5th% for his weight and in the 50th% for his height. Tall and skinny just like daddy. Oh and did I mention that he likes his daddy lots and lots and lots. I mean he picks daddy 9 times out of 10 over mommy for who he wants...and I think that is awesome!!!!!! He loves people and seeing new faces. He's not really a snuggler (unless he by chance falls asleep in your arms). Probably because he has too many things to explore. Oh and he just learned how to crawl into cupboards as well. I could go on and on, but hopefully all the grandmas were able to get a good idea of who this little guy is. I promise I give him a hug for each one of you and tell him how much he's loved by so many.
