Happy Halloween

What a busy month. We had two birthdays...yes Chris and my birthday are exactly one week apart...some crazy Halloween parties and some awesome house guests. We just barely had time to come up with some costumes for those parties. After tossing around the ideas of having James be Magneto (from xmen), a boxer, or a sumo wrestler his awesome Uncle Justin came up with the winning idea of a roman soldier. I have to say that James made the cutest little soldier even if he ate his sword rather than fighting with it. We also got our first teenage babysitter and it was pretty tough on this mama. I guess after carrying this kid around for over a year it's hard to part with him to just anyone. However, the babysitter was great and it turned out just as I suspected...James woke up, realized there was someone new and fun so he decided to stay awake to get to know her better rather than go back to sleep. He also had a diaper explosion and ensured that she didn't want to have kids for a long while :) Overall, it was a good experience for all parties involved because James turned on the charm to make up for his need for a change of clothes. I couldn't decide which one was the cutest...so I posted them all to let you see if you could decide :)

Just thought I'd share what Chris and I were for Halloween as well. Chris was the artist and I was his work of art.
He drew my shirt (or more like copied it) in about 10 minutes. Pretty good if you ask me ;)
